Is the national guard worth joining?

Ive always wanted to join the military in some way but the army and air force rejected me do to the new moral waiver standards for something stupid i did when i was a juvenile and the marines and navy arent for me and the national guard recruiter said he can get me in. So in a nutshell is the national guard worth joining or no and why? (yes i know the decision is ultimately up to me)
