How many calories should i be eating each day?

im a 16 year old female. 5'3", 160lbs. my pyramid tracker thing says i should be eating 2200 calories a day, but that seems like an awful lot. i thought it was supposed to be more around 1500. especially since i want to be losing weight. i don't know, what do you think?
