How long are the airforce/army enlistments?

Im 19 debating army or airforce I dont want to go to a recruiter because I just think they sugar coat everything I may be wrong but still Id rather get answers from actual peole that went through it. I'm small female but im very competitive against men I am currently in a male dominated work industry so I am not worried about which one is tougher rather what are some benefits of both? how long are the enlistments for both? i know it varies by the job but on average? Wh at are some bad things about both? Thank you all and hope to get a lot of helpful info. :)
